    This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

    The protein has a calculated MW of 35.2 kDa. The protein migrates as 40 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

    1. Structure

      Each full-length transmembrane protein is encapsulated by detergent micelle.

    2. Synthesis Process

      Through mild detergent micelle extraction, dedicated solubilization, and stringent affinity purification, we maximally retain the native transmembrane conformation of full-length transmembrane proteins throughout downstream purification. This workflow yields purified, detergent-solubilized proteins free of unrelated membrane impurities and exogenous scaffold proteins, with exceptional purity, accurate quantitation, and well-preserved biological activity—ideal for immunization, binding assays in antibody discovery and screening (ELISA) and affinity testing (SPR and BLI), etc.

  • Endotoxin

    Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method / rFC method.

  • Purity

    >85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

  • Formulation

    This product is not suitable for cell based experiments due to cytotoxicity of DDM.
    DDM and CHS are INDISPENSABLE to keep membrane protein soluble and active, under no circumstances should you remove DDM and CHS.
    DDM/CHS buffer (DC-11) is sold separately and not included in protein, and please contact us if you need the buffer.
    If glycerol is not compatible with your application, remove glycerol just before the immediate experiment, and NEVER store glycerol-free protein solution.

    Supplied as 0.2 μm filtered solution in 50 mM HEPES, 150 mM NaCl, DDM, CHS, pH7.5 with glycerol as protectant.

    I purchased this CD20 protein in order to test BLI binding of anti-CD20 antibodies. At first, I left out the CHS and DDM, even though Acro's directions were clear about how, when, and why to include these, and the curves did not look good. But then I included the CHS and DDM and the BLI curves were clear and of high quality. It is great to be able to test binding to this tricky membrane protein. Because of Acro's CD20, I was able to compare antibodies and enable decision making.

    It was for BLI experiment. Compared to the CD20 protein that I previously purchased from another company, this protein has stronger binding bioactivity. It is impressive that this special membrane protein CD20 can be expressed in full length and has high bioactivity. It would be even better if the price can be slightly cheaper.

    Because CD20 is a multi-transmembrane protein, I have tried many vendors but none of the expression was good. I ordered this product for both antibody screening and Elisa many times, and the experiments results have been very good. Everything is perfect except it is a little bit expensive.
